Faculty of Pharmacy
Faculty of Pharmacy under Parul University is contributing immensely in the field of research since 2004. The Faculty of Pharmacy comprises of 06 constituent colleges namely Parul Institute of Pharmacy, Parul Institute of Pharmacy & Research, School of Pharmacy, Institute of Pharmaceutical Science, Parul Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research and Parul College of Pharmacy & Research (Ahmedabad Campus) which are equipped with the state of art facilities for research and developmental activities in conventional and novel drug delivery systems. The instrument facility includes 10 Station Tablet Compression Machine, Extruder Spheronizer, Blenders, High-Speed Homogenizer, High-Pressure Homogenizer, Probe Sonicator, Spray-Dryer, Bench-Top Lyophilizer, Malvern Zeta Sizer (Nano-zS), HPLC, IR, Fluorescent Microscope, PCR, Gel Electrophoresis, HPTLC Zeta Sizer, Microfluidizer, Electrospinning Unit, High Speed Homogeniser, etc. All the Constituent institutes under Faculty of Pharmacy are approved by Pharmacy Council of India - New Delhi. The Faculty of Pharmacy offers programs like D. Pharm, B.Pharm, M. Pharm (10 different specialization), Pharm D., Pharm D. (Post Baccalaureate). We train students with highest degree of professional skills with ethical and moral concerns, comprehensive knowledge in Pharmacy and healthcare. Faculty of Pharmacy Parul University has received national recognition by Ministry of Education, India and ranked 47th as per NIRF India Rankings 2024. The Faculty of Pharmacy has published over 500 research papers in reputed Scopus Indexed Journals, around 20 book-chapters and over 30 patent applications. The Faculty of Pharmacy has received grants from various funding agencies to the tune of around 12 million for research and development. The faculty has excellent placement records and the students are recruited in reputed Pharmaceutical industries/ Hospitals/ Research center's and Academic Institutions.
